The essence of the SLA process is to produce the spatial models from layer to layer from a light-curing resin material. In the process, the UV-curable resin solidifies layer by layer at the point of exposure, and then the superimposed layers eventually form a whole. The finished pieces often still need to be post-treated under UV light to achieve their final strength.
FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology is a very efficient additive manufacturing method. It is the only professional 3D printing technology that uses thermoplastics for industrial use, so the finished elements have unique mechanical, thermal and chemical resistance.
